"Design together
a meaningful art of living"

Flavien Delbergue has earned solid experiences in
Japan and Scandinavian countries, where he perceives new ways of impacting our societies through creativity as a vector of meaning and emotion. Then, he founded his design studio in Paris
The studio, engaged in a constant dialogue with its
clients and partners, pays close attention to the state of mind of a brand and contributes to broadening its universe through new perspectives on its know-how. Through an incisive global vision combined with a sensitive creative approach, Flavien Delbergue and his studio share their expertise on multiple design missions.
With its passion, freshness and engagement, Studio Flavien Delbergue strives to offer its clients and partners high-impact solutions for our daily lives. Convinced that a meaningful art of living improves the quality and comfort of life in our societies, the studio designs and develops products and interiors that are part of this approach.
Everyday objects question Flavien by their uses and
the way of appropriating them through each culture.
According to him, the meaning of the objects is inherent to the way we draw them. Outlines instill the state of mind. Thus, the studio is driven by this spirit and gives back to the objects their place for domestic, tertiary and hospitality spaces.
It is based on a global and singular approach. Each
project becomes an immersive journey where lifestyle,
cultures and know-how are placed at the heart of the
concept. The studio’s practice is based on an intuitive
sense of the product, a sense of the necessity. The
function must be obvious. The essence of the material
is brought to light by simple transformations which
they has become a signature of Studio Flavien Delbergue.
This modest approach to the material with a work of contrasts textures and a sense of details contribute to create timeless and balanced products.

At the age of 20, Flavien Delbergue has been immersed into Japanese craftsmanship’s state of mind. He has learned from several Kyoto-based crafts houses came together abroad under the name of Japan Handmade. He was wondered about the concept of sincerity in a design process and this experience has been fundamental for him. After graduating from École Boulle, Flavien has worked for Copenhagen design studio OEO Studio. There, he has perceived common values between Scandinavian countries and Japan. These rich experiences have founded his approach. He has engaged to open up to new territories and to encourage bridges between France and Japan. His design studio based in Paris was created in 2016. The same year, he took part in the Académie des Savoir-Faire organised by the Fondation d'entreprise Hermès. In 2018, he joined the Ateliers de Paris incubator. In 2019, he was finalist Design Parade Hyères 14 with the Asobi project. In 2020, he moved to his new office in Rue Primo Levi, Paris.
