The Phœnix fireplace

Rise from the ashes

In October 2021, Merci, the emblematic Parisian concept store, will open its second residence, located on the Quai de la Tournelle on the Rive Gauche of Paris. For this occasion, Merci has invited a selection of artists and designers to take over each of the rooms in this, neo-classical from the end of the 18th century, parisian apartment.

In the living room, a fundamental room because it forms the axis of symmetry of this apartment, a fireplace had disappeared. With its intervention, Studio Flavien Delbergue  wished to perfect the symmetry and to revive this fireplace.

The studio specially designed and made the Phœnix fireplace, a piece of furniture with pure lines made of burnt solid Parisian oak and with tops made of Le Pavé® recycled plastic.
