Okamei collection

A touch of materiality

Okamei Meibokuten was founded in 1951 in Osaka.

A Japanese manufacturer specialising in wood construction. A part of its activity is dedicated to

«  Ranma », a know-how devoted to the creation of architectural decors in carved wood. By collaborating with Okamei Meibokuten, Studio Flavien Delbergue tried to bring new perspectives to this know-how by reintroducing it in our home through the object.

A set of home accessories (coat hooks & clocks) has been designed in Japanese cedar. At the root of this project, three patterns, which are inspired by Japanese landscapes and nature, thus placing the artisanal gesture back at the heart of the approach.
